“What is the single greatest structural barrier keeping you from launching a startup in Kerala?” (n = 260) returns: Total lack of business mentorship, incubation cells, and networking — 43.5% (113); Fear of bureaucratic delays, red tape, and complex licensing regulations — 25.8% (67); Inability to secure initial seed capital or collateral-free bank loans — 18.5% (48); Intense family pressure to choose job safety over business risk — 12.3% (32).

Placed beside the primary figure, this measure spreads more evenly, with the leading answer at 43.5%. Read together, the two questions describe cross-cutting analysis as a pattern reported across the cohort rather than an issue confined to a minority of respondents.
